The Duke's Seafood Cookery Masterclasses

Join us here at the Duke's, to be enriched with the skills from our chef and fishmonger, to excite your love of fresh and local food & cooking.
During our 3 hour classes, you will have the opportunity to learn from both the fishmonger and chef, in a relaxed atmosphere. Have a chat, enhance your knowledge, and learn or perfect skills such as cleaning and filleting fresh fish, flavour pairing, preparation, cooking and even restaurant standard presentation techniques.
Everything you need during the course is provided for you, including a menu pack which you can take away, with your food. Tea and coffee is complementary during your course, but should you wish, there will also be the opportunity to purchase an alcoholic beverage (or two, why not?!) to enjoy through the evening.
Each class will consist of one local fish dish and one seasonal fish dish. For the local dish, you will be using fish caught on our own boat, just off the local coast, meaning the freshness will be second to none!
Classes will be no more than 5 people, so you will have ample opportunity to talk to both the chef and fishmonger.
Classes are £50 per person, and will need to be paid 7 days in advance.
Your menu options will be sent to you a few days before your class.
